Problem Note 57475: Call to FCMP function fails with "Segmentation Violation"
A call to a function that is defined in the FCMP procedure might fail with a message like the following in the SAS log:

This problem occurs when you pass a character array as an argument to an FCMP function. The problem is a due to a regression that was introduced by a performance enhancement.
There are no workarounds available.
